Arisugawa is the granddaughter of Professor Arisugawa, creator of the Magical Gate cyber park where children interact via uploaded consciousness. She escaped the initial virus attack on the Magical Gate alongside Kento Yuki after the virus corrupted most protective Web Knights. Learning of Kento's mission to fight the virus, she chose to assist him directly.

She does not pilot Web Knights. Instead, she provides vital operational support as an operator and CIC (Command Information Center) officer within the Web Knights' base, the Magical Station. She performs this role alongside Karon and Kaito Yuki, especially when Kaito is not piloting.

Her connection to the Magical Gate's technology is significant: the personality of its managing AI, Ange, is modeled after her late mother, Mika Arisugawa. Ange's appearance varies per observer, though the fairy-like form commonly seen reflects the perceptions of Kento's group, including Arisugawa. During the final conflict, Ange utilized Arisugawa as a living conduit to focus the collective hopes, or "prayers," of everyone involved, delivering this support to Kento and Gladion in their battle against the Deletloss virus.
