Description
Kento Yuuki is the main protagonist, a fourth-grade student who narrowly escaped the Magical Gate incident. In this catastrophe, the Deletloss computer virus hijacked the children's virtual world. Kento failed to save his younger brother Kaito during the escape, leaving Kaito trapped within the system. Driven by guilt and determination, Kento partners with Gladion, the last uninfected Web Knight, to fight Deletloss and rescue the captured children, including Kaito.

In daily life, Kento copes with academic struggles and minor school mishaps, like copying homework from his friend Aoi Arisugawa or fumbling practical tasks such as laundry and removing fish bones. He displays typical childlike traits, becoming cranky when hungry and intensely focused on video games until he wins. Yet, he possesses remarkable technical skill, constructing his own G-Controller to access the Magical Gate and demonstrating strong craftsmanship.

Within the digital world, Kento transforms into an intuitive pilot of the Web Knight Gladion. His reflexes and combat instincts are heightened, likely honed by real-world kendo, enabling him to effectively wield a scaled-down GranBlade in close combat. He exhibits leadership, analytical battle thinking, and fierce loyalty to friends and Web Knights. This determination sometimes becomes recklessness, especially when loved ones are threatened, leading to overexertion or requiring intervention from allies like Naoki to refocus after emotional setbacks.

Kento's personality is marked by hot-blooded enthusiasm and his recurring motto of "spirit and guts." He forges a profound bond of mutual trust with Gladion, evolving from partnership to deep connection. This bond proves vital when Kento dives into Gladion's spiritual world to restore him after memory loss or near-destruction. Their connection culminates in a fusion during the final battle, transforming them into a cybernetic angelic entity to defeat Deletloss.

Kento's relationships extend beyond Gladion. He shares a protective, guilt-driven dynamic with brother Kaito, a trusted friendship with operator Aoi, a rivalry-turned-partnership with childhood friend Naoki Asaba after freeing him from Deletloss, and cooperative ties with fellow pilots Jean-Jacques Jacquard and Shō Kurachi. His growth involves accepting Kaito's role as a pilot, transforming self-blame for Kaito's capture into proactive leadership.

His development includes mastering his role as a Web Diver, balancing impulsiveness with strategic insight, and inspiring his team through unwavering resolve. A key symbol of his evolution occurs piloting Victory Gladion, a fusion of Gladion and Kaito's Wyverion. This grants Kento white wings and changes his Diver Suit to red, reflecting their combined strength and his matured resolve.
