Description
Raiza commands a prominent position within the Baam Empire's military, operating directly under Prince Richter. Though her precise origins are unclear, she was born on Planet Baam, with promotional imagery suggesting a childhood bond shared with Richter and his sister Erika. She demonstrates significant expertise in military strategy, scientific research, and combat, favoring a whip as her primary weapon.

Her defining trait is an obsessive, unwavering loyalty to Richter, intertwined with unreciprocated romantic feelings. This devotion fuels intense animosity toward Erika, whom Raiza perceives as betraying the Baam Empire through her empathy for humans and romantic involvement with Earth pilot Kazuya Ryuzaki. Consequently, Raiza actively drives Richter's campaign against Earth, designing combat strategies and deploying Mecha Warriors in numerous battles.

Raiza routinely employs underhanded tactics to secure her influence. Fearing replacement after Richter enlists Gurney Halleck, she conspires with Balbas to frame Gurney during an encounter with Kazuya. This scheme results in Gurney being branded a traitor and sentenced to death by Richter, an outcome Raiza observes with visible satisfaction. Her hostility extends to manipulating Erika; she forces Erika to pilot a lethal mecha by threatening her caretakers, Margarete and Cindy. Later, Raiza pragmatically defends Margarete's false claim of Erika's death during an execution attempt, primarily to bind Margarete's loyalty.

This singular loyalty dictates her final actions. Learning of Richter's plan to assassinate Olban—the usurper responsible for Emperor Leon's death—Raiza aids his infiltration of the Baam stronghold. Fearing for Richter's safety during the assassination attempt, she wounds him and tries to kill Olban herself. This intervention proves fatal, as Olban kills her before she succeeds.

Raiza exhibits no significant evolution or redemption. Her actions consistently stem from serving Richter and eliminating perceived threats to his authority or affections, culminating in her death during the failed attack on Olban.
