Description
Queen Apolon rules planet Apolon and is mother to the central protagonist, Takeshi. She remains unseen until episodes 24 through 26. Captured by General Dazaan's forces during their invasion, which destroyed her planet, killed her husband, and forced Takeshi's escape to Earth under retainer Rabi's protection, her imprisonment on planet Dazaan drives key plot points.
Her existence is revealed in episode 24 when the villain Joket impersonates her. Joket uses this deception as a psychological tactic against Takeshi, presenting a false hostage scenario to lure the Dai Apolon into vulnerability. This confirms Queen Apolon's significance as a Dazaan Army target and a core motivator for Takeshi. Learning her true location, Takeshi launches a rescue mission to planet Dazaan in episode 25.
During captivity, she implores the Great Leader of Dazaan to cease hostilities, advocating for peace and questioning the conflict's necessity. Her diplomatic stance briefly influences the demoted villain Gyranik, who echoes her appeal, though the Great Leader dismisses these efforts. Her liberation concludes in episode 26, where her emotional appeal for universal peace coincides with the series' resolution.
The compilation film *Shadow World* adapts episodes featuring Joket's impersonation plot but does not expand Queen Apolon's background or include her direct involvement.
