Description
Mach Kick is a Maximal from the Japanese Transformers series Beast Wars Neo, the sole survivor of the Thoroughbred Corps destroyed by Predacons on the Fortress Planet. After recovering, he signed on with Big Convoy's crew to help secure Angolmois Capsules across the universe.

He possesses a free-spirited and rowdy personality, often acting like a college fraternity member. This boisterous attitude sparks near-daily clashes with the disciplined Longrack on Big Convoy's unit, though an underlying camaraderie exists. Mach Kick deeply admires Big Convoy, seeing him as powerful and "cool," and strives to impress through diligent duty, sometimes overstepping with other crew. Beneath his party-centric exterior, he reveals wisdom and courage in critical moments.

In the Beast Wars Neo anime, he debuted in "Mach Kick Voluntarily Enlists!?" infiltrating the Maximals' ship, the Gung Hao, to join. Initially suspected as a Predacon spy by Longrack, he proved his loyalty by foiling Archadis's Predacon trap on Galo, securing an Angolmois Capsule and earning Longrack's grudging respect. He participated in the wider conflict against Magmatron's Predacons and later Unicron's Blentrons, fighting in the final battle against Unicron.

Beyond Neo, Mach Kick appears in other continuities. IDW Publishing's Beast Wars comics depict him in Lio Convoy's elite Pack, tracking Razorbeast's signal to prehistoric Earth, fighting Predacons (including knocking down Scourge with a bucking attack), and battling Shokaract on Cybertron while wielding weapon-mode Break. In Beast Wars: Uprising, he joins Grimlock's Resistance against the Builders; during an infiltration at Tesarus Arena, he ignored Grimlock's warning, triggered a mine, and died instantly.

Other portrayals include a TransTech universe incarnation competing in Equinicon races on Axiom Nexus with Mini-Con partner Fastbreak, facing allegations of illegal speed enhancements, and participation in an inter-faction race interrupted by Decepticons in the My Little Pony/Transformers crossover.

His alternate mode is a unique grayish-purple organic horse with a rooted nylon-hair tail. Transforming into robot mode activates a telescoping "Elastic Hand/Crusher" gimmick via pressing the mane. His primary weapon is the "Tail Tomahawk," formed from his removable beast-mode tail. Toy materials document a third "Protect Mode" intended for interacting with smaller figures, though functionally impractical.
