Description
Green Bomber, also known as Midoribon, originates from the Bomberman franchise and appears across multiple media. In *Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden IV*, he serves as a minor character and a captain on Planet Jupiter. Infused with Planet Energy Circuit power, he joins the Nereid Rebel Alliance led by Navy Blue Bomber, alongside White, Red, Blue, and Yellow Bomber, later joined by Black Bomber. This alliance fights the Nol Arc Empire and Emperor Dark Bomber to save the Blue Soaler System.

Transitioning to a major protagonist role in *Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden V*, Green Bomber holds the rank of sergeant. He exhibits bravery but is demanding and competitive, displaying jealousy when Black Bomber resolves situations before him. He shares a close bond with Witchy, a young witch girl who has a crush on him, though he views her as a sister. Witchy acts as his cheerleader during conflicts, though her spells often cause chaotic situations requiring team intervention. His background establishes him as a soldier from Border Kingdom, stranded on an island. Rescued by B-Da Cops, he aids their mission to save Border Kingdom from Devil Vader, demonstrating loyalty to Princess Akabon.

Green Bomber pilots specific B-Da Armors: Grand Greaver, using the "Double Metal Shot" special attack, and later Crys Greaver, featuring "Super Metal Double Shot." He also contributes to the combined legendary armor B-Da Calibur, formed from Siege Whiter, Sonic Brood, Crys Greaver, and Knight Blacker.

In *Bomberman: Bakufuu Sentai Bombermen*, he appears as part of a five-Bomberman team. His special abilities include the Bomb Kick and the Green Bomb, a lightning-based explosive with lingering effects. Within the *Bomberman Land* series, he serves as the "military advisor" for Team Gold under Gold Bomber. Described as intelligent yet airheaded and carefree, English localizations rename him Bookworm Green, a change not reflected in Japanese versions.

In classic games, Green Bomberman debuted as an antagonist alongside Black Bomberman's gang in *Bomberman (TG-16)*. He moves rapidly, transforms into an invincible fire form to shoot fireballs, and requires two hits to defeat. He has similar boss roles in *Bomberman '93*, riding a motorbike, placing land mines, and retaining the two-hit defeat requirement. In *Super Bomberman 4*, he shifts to a supportive role, trapped in a cage and freed to assist players by dropping bombs.

In *Super Bomberman R*, Green Bomber is the youngest of the eight Bomberman siblings. Beneath a cute facade, he exhibits a manipulative side, deceiving siblings like White and Blue Bomber to fulfill personal requests or evade responsibilities. Despite his cunning, he avoids combat when possible, expressing fear during missions.
