TV-Series
Description
Dr. Clive is the school doctor in the jungle village, arriving from the city early in the series. He is later revealed as the biological father of Haré, conceived during a relationship with Weda when she was 14. His appearance features pale skin, black eyes, and initially white hair. To escape persistent stalking by the hairdresser Dama, who mistakes him for her missing husband due to his hair color, he permanently dyes it black. He typically wears a white lab coat over a black shirt and glasses.

He displays profound apathy toward nearly everyone in the jungle, though he makes exceptions for women. Clive exhibits highly perverted tendencies and repeatedly attempts to restart his relationship with Weda, efforts that usually fail until later events. Despite his biological link to Haré, their interactions frequently erupt into violent arguments, often focused on Weda or household issues. Flashbacks reveal he suffered abuse from a perverse mother who despised him in his childhood, potentially contributing to his promiscuity and hostility toward young boys.

Notable traits include a genuine fondness for Marie, whom he treats with paternal affection. He wears clothing she makes and praises her cooking, contrasting his typical self-centeredness. His mannerisms, such as high-strung reactions and occasional awareness of Guu's supernatural actions, closely mirror Haré's, underscoring their biological connection.

His character develops throughout the series. Dyeing his hair black becomes a lasting change to evade Dama. When Weda becomes pregnant with their second child, he proposes marriage, leading to their union. After marriage, Weda exhibits less tolerance for his womanizing behavior. Clive also transitions from sporadic jungle residence to permanently moving in with Weda and Haré, marking a shift toward family stability.
