Description
Kurako Hieda commands the dual roles of head priestess at Asagiri Shrine and high school homeroom teacher while steering the Hieda family as its eldest sister. Acting as both a maternal figure and strict mentor, she balances shrine duties with guiding her younger sisters, Yuzu and Tama, and drilling the Miko Council in rigorous regimens that fuse ancient rituals with combat tactics—methods so demanding they border on merciless. Her unyielding focus on discipline and strategic foresight stems from a profound grasp of spiritual lore and battlefield tactics.

Charged with safeguarding her spirit-sensitive cousin Tadahiro Amatsu from dark forces, Kurako identifies the looming threats of sorcerer Ayatachi and the malevolent deity Yagarena, catalyzing the Miko Council’s creation. In battle, she employs a precision-forged bow and an expansive enchanted ring, using the former to strike with pinpoint accuracy and the latter to ensnare foes.

Though her demeanor radiates authority and stern resolve, fleeting glimpses of warmth surface in exchanges with her sisters. Juggling educational, sacerdotal, and protective obligations, Kurako maintains an aloof professionalism, consistently subordinating personal bonds to her sacred duties. As supernatural perils intensify, she drives the Miko Council through relentless trials, forging them into a frontline defense against adversaries like the Twilight Priestesses.
