In spiritual combat, she wields a tamagushi—a ritual wand fashioned from a leafy branch. Her signature attack was originally termed "moon tornado defusion" but later became known as "lyrical flash."

Her interactions within the group are heavily influenced by her dynamic with fellow council member Izumi Sakibara. Izumi finds Chika intensely cute and frequently attempts to glomp her, consistently provoking Chika's visible disgust and annoyance. This recurring pattern underscores their strained relationship.
