Seventeen-year-old Aoba High student Daisaku Enjouji is renowned for his robotics expertise. His original competition-winning robot design became the foundation for the Alpha Robo component developed at Professor Mizuki's Robot Center after the Derringer aliens attacked. Alpha Robo is one of the three core units forming the super robot Albegas, alongside Beta Robo and Gamma Robo.

Daisaku pilots the black Alpha Robo and serves as the Albegas team's leader and primary pilot during operations. He coordinates their combinations, with Alpha Robo forming different sections of Albegas depending on the combat configuration required. In the primary Electroid Dimension mode, Alpha Robo constitutes the upper torso, head, arms, and thighs. Daisaku participates in all six Albegas formations, adapting to environments like magma, space, marine, guard, and sky dimensions.

Cheerful, extroverted, and optimistic, he is the most outgoing team member. He demonstrates battlefield bravery, leadership, and quick decision-making. Beyond robotics, he is captain of his high school's football team, a role contributing to his popularity and the existence of a female student fan club. This attention sometimes induces jealousy in his teammate and fellow pilot, Hotaru Mizuki.

Daisaku exhibits strong loyalty to his friends and team, prioritizing their protection in conflicts. He maintains a sense of responsibility and adheres to established structures.
