Description
Kassie Carlen, originally named Karin Kokubu, is an ordinary 13-year-old seventh-grade student. Her routine commute to Sei Ringo Gakuen takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a seemingly injured yellow pig. The pig consumes her apple, revealing its hunger and deceptive health. Unaware, Kassie carries it to school inside her backpack, where it causes disturbances. Subsequent encounters expose the pig's ability to communicate and fly. Identifying itself as Prince Tonrariano the 3rd from the apple-shaped planet Buringo, the prince provides her with a "Dream Tonpact" device. Opening this compact triggers the emergence of a pig snout that attaches permanently to her nose. This device enables her transformation into a superpowered pink piglet via the incantation "Ba Bi Bu Be Burin!".

This piglet form grants flight and other superpowers used to aid people in peril. However, the porcine transformation clashes with Kassie's aspiration to resemble a traditional magical girl like her idol, "Cutey Chao." Prince Tonrariano reveals that collecting 108 pearls through heroic deeds might eventually unlock her desired heroic form. Pearl accumulation operates on karmic principles: benevolent actions earn pearls, while power misuse causes loss. A critical restriction governs her power: if her human identity is exposed while acting as the superhero, she faces permanent entrapment in pig form.

Kassie navigates daily life balancing typical school concerns with superhero duties. She maintains a painting hobby and navigates school dynamics, including a romantic interest in Koichi Mizuno, the soccer team captain. Koichi develops admiration for her superhero persona without recognizing Kassie. Her best friend, Masami Yamakawa, offers crucial emotional support, especially concerning romantic challenges. Classmates include timid Kaoru Hidaka, the inquisitive Jimmy Matsumoto (whose investigations threaten her secret), and wealthy rival Keiko Kuroha.

Family life introduces tension through her father, Shinichiro Kokubu, editor-in-chief of the Akebono Times. His professional pursuit of a story about the superhero pig constantly pressures her secret identity. Kassie evolves through these experiences: initial reluctance and embarrassment about her pig form gradually shift towards role acceptance. A key narrative arc sees her temporarily gain her idealized magical girl form, only to discover its limitations during a crisis, prompting her deliberate return to pig form for a successful resolution.

The series concludes as her classmates uncover her dual identity in the penultimate episode. This exposure activates the established magical rule, resulting in her permanent entrapment in pig form.
