Born in 1966, she trained at the Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin and has worked as a freelance voice actor and stage and screen actor since 1990. Her voice is heard in numerous advertisements, radio features for outlets like Deutschlandradio Berlin, audiobooks, and audio dramas. She is also known as a long-time promotional speaker for the music television network VIVA.

In the realm of live-action dubbing, Eberhard is the established German voice for several prominent Hollywood actresses. She regularly dubs Jessica Biel in productions such as The Sinner and Candy: Tod in Texas, Kristin Davis, known for her role as Charlotte York in Sex and the City, and Betsy Brandt as Mary Schrader in Breaking Bad. She also provides the German voice for actresses including Selma Blair, Miranda Otto, Shawnee Smith, and Michelle Monaghan.

Eberhard has a significant body of work in German dubbing for Japanese anime. In the acclaimed fantasy film Wolf Children, she voiced the lead role of Hana, a dedicated young mother raising her two half-wolf children.
