TV-Series
Description
Honey Kisaragi is the sixteen-year-old protagonist of Cutie Honey Flash, a version of the character distinct from other series in the franchise. Unlike previous incarnations who were androids, this Honey is an artificial but fully organic human, created alongside a counterpart, Seira Hazuki, by the scientist Takeshi Kisaragi. The project, which aimed to utilize a powerful device, was conducted under the watch of a figure known as Prince Zera. After another entity, Sister Jill, personally terminated the project and destroyed the incubation machine, Dr. Kisaragi rescued Honey and raised her as his own daughter, leaving her unaware of her true origins for much of her life.

Honey attends the all-girls St. Chapel Academy, where she is a popular and well-mannered student, often affectionately called Honey Onesama by her classmates. Her life is turned upside down on her sixteenth birthday when her father is kidnapped by the evil organization Panther Claw. A mysterious man known as the Twilight Prince then appears, bestowing upon her a choker and bracelet that allow her to activate the device within her. By pressing her choker and uttering the phrase Honey Flash, she can transform into the pink or red-haired sword-wielding heroine known as Cutie Honey. Her main motivation throughout the series is to rescue her father from Panther Claw, a goal that defines her role in the story as she battles the organization's forces.

In her daily life, Honey is cheerful, friendly, and deeply cares for those around her. She is particularly close to her best friend, Natsuko Aki, and shares a loving bond with her father. When she meets Seira Hazuki, a new transfer student who rivals her in fencing, Honey wishes to befriend her despite Seira's initial animosity, which is later revealed to stem from her identity as Misty Honey, a dark counterpart and twin to Cutie Honey. Honey receives assistance and guidance from the detective Seiji Hayami, a private eye who specializes in Panther Claw and whose own father was lost to the organization. The mysterious Twilight Prince also aids her, providing both information and important tools.

Honey possesses an excellent natural talent for fencing, even before gaining her powers. Her primary ability comes from the Element Fixing Device within her body, which allows her to transform into a variety of specialized personas, each with its own unique outfit and skills. These forms include Hurricane Honey, a skilled motorcyclist used for swift transportation; Scoop Honey, a photographer for gathering information; Stage Honey, a singer; Nurse Honey, who has medical knowledge; Escort Honey, disguised as a flight attendant; and Elegance Honey, dressed as a bride. Her main battle form, Cutie Honey, wields a rapier called the Silver Fleurette and a Honey Boomerang from her arm. In this form, she also possesses a powerful healing factor that can recover from serious wounds in a matter of hours.

Character development occurs as Honey comes to terms with her origins as an artificial human, created alongside Seira. The deaths of her father and Seira cause her to lose heart temporarily, but she is encouraged by Natsuko and Seiji to continue fighting for those she loves. Later in the series, the power of her device and Seira's combine, allowing Honey to access a greatly enhanced form called Hyper Honey, which features a new white and red costume and powerful attacks like the Honey Rouge Arrow and Honey Lightning Flare. Her journey culminates in a final battle against Panther Claw's leader, Panther Zora, where she uses the full strength of her device to crystallize Zora's statue. In a final development, Honey later conceives a child with Seiji. After the final battle, she gives birth to a daughter named Seira and eventually marries Seiji while attending university.
