Description
Born July 15, 2019, at Grace Field House orphanage, Krone (Sister Krone) was shipped out in 2031 at age twelve after uncovering the orphanage's purpose: raising children as demon food. Facing death or becoming a caretaker, she chose the caretaker role. Training included surgery implanting a microchip in her heart, designed to electrocute her if she left her assigned area.

Krone possessed a tall, muscular build with dark skin, short afro-textured hair, and brown eyes featuring long lower eyelashes. She had prominent lips and nose, accentuated during intimidating moments. Her standard attire was a black dress with a white blouse, apron, and the identification number "18684" tattooed on her neck. Surgical stitches on her chest marked the microchip implant site.

As a child, Krone demonstrated resourcefulness, devising a Chinese sky lantern to send messages outside the orphanage; it was recovered by scientist Smee. During caretaker training, she reunited with Cecile, a friend from her orphanage days. They plotted escape using a map sewn into embroidery by previous trainees. Cecile betrayed Krone to advance her own position, later revealed as a self-sacrifice to harden Krone for survival. This cemented Krone's distrust of others and fueled ruthless ambition.

Assigned to Grace Field as Isabella's assistant, Krone outwardly displayed warmth and playfulness toward younger children while secretly scheming to usurp Isabella's position as "Mama." She believed becoming Mama would grant a comfortable life filled with genuine orphan affection. Her methods involved manipulation, espionage, and psychological intimidation; she used Don and Gilda as pawns to identify escape-minded children and eavesdropped on Emma, Norman, and Ray's plans.

Discovering the children's escape plans, Krone feigned alliance, offering help in exchange for Isabella's downfall while privately intending betrayal once they outlived their usefulness. She obtained a mysterious pen dropped by Smee, which later aided the children's escape. Her scheming culminated in Isabella framing her for treason, leading to execution by demons. In her final moments, she urged the children to survive and "destroy this damned world," hinting at buried resentment toward the farm system.

Discussions about Krone's character reference racial stereotyping due to exaggerated facial features, physicality contrasting Isabella's femininity, and servant attire evoking historical caricatures. Some analyses suggest these design choices unintentionally reinforced harmful tropes about Black women's masculinity and aggression, while others argue her narrative subverted the "Mammy" archetype through ambition and defiance.
