Henk de Mol is a mole who serves as the adoptive father and primary guardian of Alfred J. Kwak. He was a close friend of Alfred's biological parents, Johan Sebastian and Anna Kwak, before their deaths in a rainstorm car accident, which also claimed Alfred's siblings. Discovering the orphaned duckling, Henk took responsibility for his upbringing.

He raised Alfred first in his grandfather's underground home, providing stability and care.
