He orchestrated systematic embezzlement of church funds alongside other high-ranking Cardinals for personal gain. When the rightful Head Priestess, Lumachina Weselia, uncovered evidence of their corruption and planned to expose it while traveling towards Faltra City, Vishos acted decisively. He dispatched Gewalt, a paladin serving as his personal assassin, to intercept and kill Lumachina before she could reach safety or reveal the truth.

After Lumachina arrived at the Zircon Tower City sanctuary with Diablo and his companions, Vishos confronted her directly. Despite Lumachina publicly declaring her identity as Head Priestess and announcing his excommunication for corruption, Vishos manipulated the gathered believers. He falsely portrayed her as a sinner and heretic, leveraging his authority to turn the faithful against her and her allies. This allowed him to order their arrest, separating Lumachina from Diablo, Rem, Shera, and Horn. He imprisoned them within the church complex while consolidating his control.

His actions and the ensuing scandal surrounding embezzlement and attempted murder severely deteriorated his relationship with fellow church officials. Consequently, he was removed from his central position of power within the Cardinal Authority. To prevent further interference in church governance, he was reassigned to Zircon Tower, effectively isolating him from core decision-making processes in the capital.
