Description
Yatch, also known as Yashichi, is the primary rival to the series' protagonist, Mirmo. This ninja-type fairy displays impatience and a brash demeanor, frequently snapping at his henchmen, Sasuke and Hanzo. His appearance features ninja-like apparel and weaponry, reminiscent of Recca Hanabishi from *Flame of Recca*.
Summoned via a yellow mug, Yatch partners with the human student Azumi Hidaka. Their relationship is contentious; Azumi often treats him like a slave, forcing him to perform household chores which he resents yet accepts as necessary. Despite this friction, he shows loyalty, particularly when Azumi faces danger. He wields a magical triangle and favors the snack karinto.
Yatch exhibits a recurring habit of peeking at girls' underwear and sketching what he sees, frequently embarrassing Azumi. This trait persists across story arcs, including his wish for "thousands of underwear" during crystal-collecting in the *Wonderful* season. Initially allied with the antagonistic Warumo Gang, he follows their orders to attack humans. However, in a pivotal moment (episode 65), he defects after the gang endangers Azumi.
