Hailing from Makai—a futuristic hyper-evolved dimension—H.E. Demon Kogure serves as Vice Emperor among the Akuma demons. His mission commands an invasion of Earth with four subordinate demons to eradicate humanity and fulfill a prophecy of demonic world conquest. This apocalyptic strategy hinges on activating the Tower of Babel, an ultimate weapon designed to annihilate mankind.

Opposing them stands Rosa, later unveiled as the war goddess Freyja in disguise, who erects the Tower of Cain to thwart their plans. Despite her efforts, Kogure’s forces succeed in activating the Tower of Babel. Yet at humanity’s brink of extinction, he abruptly halts the genocide. Instead, he pivots to propagate demonic influence through an unorthodox vessel: founding a heavy metal band.

This tactical shift redefines the demons’ earthly presence. Their flamboyant stage personas—adorned with Kabuki-inspired face paint, elaborate costumes, and hierarchical demonic titles—become instruments of their new objective. As frontman, Kogure adopts the moniker "His Excellency," weaponizing their performances as "Black Masses." Lyrics steeped in darkness, satire, and mockery of human institutions advance their fabricated creed: the Akumakyō (Demon Religion).
