Learning of Sifr Fran's existence as an illegitimate Windbloom royal descendant, Una perceived her as a significant threat. This stemmed from the royal females' latent ability to activate ancient, destructive technology capable of disrupting the world order Garderobe protected. Sifr's involuntary demonstration of this power under Schwartz's control, which vaporized a mountain, solidified Una's fear. She concluded Sifr, whether exploited or acting willingly, must be eliminated to uphold the old Windbloom-Garderobe agreement and prevent global catastrophe. Una orchestrated Sifr's assassination, specifically tasking First Column Elliot Chandler due to Chandler's friendship with Sifr's guardian, Lena Sayers, which offered easier access. When Chandler defected to protect Sifr, Una personally intervened. She deactivated Chandler's GEM, stripping her powers as punishment for opposing the mission.
