Description
Fiore di Luna, also known as Shunrei, is an orphan abandoned at China's Five Peaks and raised by the adoptive father she calls the Old Master. She assists him with household duties and tends devotedly to him in his later years. When the young Shiryu arrives at Five Peaks to train as a Bronze Saint, the Old Master introduces them, hoping for friendship. A close bond forms between Shunrei and Shiryu during his training, with Shunrei offering steadfast emotional support.

Her concern for Shiryu leads her to inform him of the Old Master's fabricated illness during the Galactic War, acting on the Old Master's instruction to test Shiryu's emotional control. After Shiryu loses his eyesight in battle, Shunrei cares for him during recovery, visibly worried and striving to motivate him through despair. She later intervenes in Shiryu's confrontation with the Silver Saint Demetrios, calling for the fight to end after Shiryu awakens.

Shunrei's most pivotal moment comes during Shiryu's battle against the Gold Saint Cancer Deathmask. Sensing Shiryu's peril, she prays ceaselessly at the Five Peaks waterfall. Her unwavering prayers disrupt Deathmask's despair and oblivion-based techniques, reaching Shiryu to fortify his resolve. Enraged by this interference, Deathmask hurls her into the waterfall. This act ignites Shiryu's fury, awakening his Seventh Sense. The Old Master ultimately rescues her from the fall.

In subsequent conflicts, including the wars against Poseidon and Hades, Shunrei remains at Five Peaks, expressing profound anxiety for Shiryu's safety. She prays fervently during his journey to the Underworld and shows relief when the sun's return after an eclipse signals the Saints' victory over Hades.

Shunrei wears traditional Chinese attire, typically pink, with her hair in a long braid. Her relationship with Shiryu features mutual affection and deep emotional connection, rarely explicitly defined as romantic. She uses affectionate terms for him, and Shiryu recalls giving her a flower in their youth. The Old Master acknowledges their bond, noting her happiness when Shiryu is present. During the "Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter - Elysion" arc, Shunrei does not physically appear or participate in the events within Elysion, her role confined to earlier storylines.
