Anna Bonel is an Italian voice actress known for her extensive work in dubbing, particularly for anime series that aired on Italian television from the 1980s onward. Her career is rooted in a strong theatrical background; she is a graduate of the Accademia dei Filodrammatici in Milan and has also studied theory and solfeggio at the Alessandria Conservatory. Before becoming a prominent voice in animation, Bonel acted on stage at renowned venues including the Piccolo Teatro di Milano and the Teatro Stabile di Genova, and she is a winner of the National Recitation Award Wanda Capodaglio.

Bonel's voice became familiar to Italian audiences through a wide array of roles in popular animated series. She is recognized for voicing Sara in Huckleberry Finn Monogatari and providing the Italian voice for the character Mimi in both Topo Gigio and Yumemiru Topo Gigio. In the long-running series The Kabocha Wine, known in Italian as Sun College, she voiced the character Lisa, also known as Elle, starting from the 40th episode. She also lent her voice to the titular character Mocky in Mock & Sweet, which is known in Italian as L'allegro mondo di Talpilandia.

Her repertoire includes significant roles in several internationally renowned anime franchises. In the Saint Seiya universe, Bonel voiced multiple characters, most notably Fiore di Luna (Shunrei) across various series and films, including Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter - Elysion. She is also the voice of Kiki in the 1989 series Il libro della giungla (Jungle Book: Shōnen Mowgli) and took on the role of Gushoshin Blu in Descendants of Darkness (Eredi del buio). In the Dragon Ball franchise, she was the first Italian voice for Mrs. Briefs, Bulma's mother, in the Mediaset editions of Dragon Ball and the film Dragon Ball Z: The Super Saiyan of the Legend. Other notable credits include Jean Grey / Phoenix in Insuperabili X-Men, Aretha in Ryo, un ragazzo contro un impero, and various roles in series such as Digimon Tamers, Fancy Lala, and Mille magie Doremì.

Beyond anime, Bonel's dubbing career extends to live-action productions and video games. Her work includes voicing characters in television series like La signora del West and the soap opera Sentieri, as well as in films such as La piccola principessa. She also contributed her voice to the Italian versions of major video game titles, including Halo 2 and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Through her prolific work, Anna Bonel has become a well-established figure in the Italian dubbing industry, with a career defined by versatility and a deep connection to the animation that shaped the television viewing of multiple generations.
