Memetchi appears as a supporting character in the animated film and is one of Mametchi's best friends. She is present for the initial test of the Transporter Machine invention and becomes involved in the events that lead to a human child, Tanpopo, being brought to Tamagotchi Planet.

Later, when an egg containing Mametchi's younger sibling rolls away and becomes lodged in a high tower, Memetchi joins the rescue effort alongside Mametchi and Tanpopo, a situation ultimately resolved through the intervention of another character.

When Mametchi leaves on a rocket to take responsibility for the planet losing its sun, Memetchi and another friend, Kuchipatchi, join him without hesitation. She remains a supportive figure throughout the space mission, which includes an encounter with a cosmic entity and a final collective effort to save their world.
