Description
Dokuro Mitsukai, an angelic assassin dispatched from the future, initially targets Sakura Kusakabe—a teen fated to develop immortality-inducing technology that freezes female aging at twelve. Her mission pivots from assassination to disruptive surveillance, embedding herself in Sakura’s life to derail his progress. Armed with the spiked club Excalibolg, she impulsively bludgeons him to death over misunderstandings or jealous impulses, only to resurrect him instantly using the incantation *"Pipiru piru piru pipiru pi."*

Energetically volatile, Dokuro oscillates between playful affection and sudden violence, her protective intent manifesting in cycles of brutality and revival—a chaotic strategy to avert a dystopian fate. Her dynamic with Sakura blends comedic absurdity and dark humor, teetering on teasing camaraderie and aggressive outbursts.

She maintains a rivalry with fellow angelic assassin Sabato Mihashigo, balancing competition with reluctant cooperation. Her bond with younger sister Zakuro Mitsukai intertwines fierce loyalty with simmering envy, resentful of Zakuro’s poised maturity and Sakura’s inadvertent favoritism.

Dokuro wields superhuman strength, resurrection magic, and reality-altering powers. A razor-edged halo crowns her head as a divine emblem; its removal inflicts immediate physical collapse, including explosive diarrhea, curtailing her vulnerabilities.

Later adaptations hint at subtle growth: increased ease around Sakura leads to shared baths and restrained power use, though her core remains anchored to chaotic guardianship. Her origins stay enigmatic, defined solely by her role as a Rurutie angel.

Thematically, she embodies contradiction—a benevolent extremist perpetuating suffering to prevent catastrophe, framing tensions between predestination and autonomy, ethics and preemptive violence.
