Description
Fei Wang Reed reigns as the central antagonist throughout the Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle narrative and the Tokyo Revelations OVAs. An artificial being forged from Clow Reed's desire to resurrect Yūko Ichihara, he stands as a distant descendant of Clow Reed. His ultimate goal centers on shattering the fundamental dimensional law forbidding the resurrection of the dead, specifically to revive Yūko and surpass Clow Reed's legacy.

To achieve resurrection, Fei Wang Reed masterminds vast manipulations across dimensions. He curses Princess Sakura with a death seal during her purification ceremony in Clow Country's original timeline, scattering her memories as feathers to compel her dimensional travel. This act implants the crucial "map of dimensions" within her body for his ritual. He engineers the formation of the main group by altering the pasts of Syaoran, Kurogane, and Fai, ensuring their convergence at Yūko's shop. Their subsequent quest to gather feathers unwittingly advances his designs. His creations include Clone Syaoran (the initial protagonist) and Clone Sakura, while he imprisons the real Syaoran. He indirectly spawns Kimihiro Watanuki by granting the real Syaoran's wish to reverse time, filling the void left by Syaoran's absence.

The Tokyo Revelations OVAs reveal critical developments. The real Syaoran awakens and pursues his clone counterpart. When the seal on the clone's "heart" – a fragment of the real Syaoran's soul – shatters, the clone loses emotion and reverts to Fei Wang Reed's control. Under command, the clone consumes Fai's left eye to steal his magic, severely injures Sakura, retrieves the Tokyo feather, and abandons the group. Fei Wang Reed's methods demand significant sacrifices and cruelty. He requires human souls for his dream, deploying soul-stealing entities that Yūko traces back to his refuge within Clow Country's severed timeline. His confirmed victims encompass Kurogane's mother, Xing Huo (his own assistant), and the original Fai.

In the final arc, Fei Wang Reed merges Clone Sakura's dimensional map with the feather left in Tokyo – revealed as past Clow Country – to collapse dimensional laws. He intends to wield this power on Yūko, frozen near death by Clow Reed's unintentional wish. His defeat stems from multiple converging factors: Yūko's arrival triggers the release of Syaoran's parents from stasis; the cloned Syaoran and Sakura are unveiled as reincarnations of these parents, creating a temporal paradox; and after Yūko's true death enrages him, Kurogane strikes the fatal blow. Fei Wang Reed consistently displays arrogance, patience, and a readiness to inflict suffering, viewing others solely as tools to achieve his ambition of eclipsing Clow Reed.
