R. Bruce Elliott is an American actor and voice actor known for his extensive work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series, primarily for Funimation. Born on September 3, 1949, in Renton, Washington, he began his on-screen acting career in the late 1980s, appearing in films such as Fletch Lives and JFK, and television series like Walker, Texas Ranger. His transition into voice acting began in the 1990s, with early roles including providing English voices for anime features like Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest and Lupin III: The Columbus Files.
Over a career spanning more than three decades, Elliott has become a prolific and recognizable presence in the anime dubbing industry, lending his voice to a wide array of characters. His roles often include authoritative figures, mentors, and villains.
