Odin presents as an elderly figure with gray hair, a thrush beard, and a single crimson eye, typically concealed beneath a black eye-patch over the left. He wears a black cloak and pointed hat, carrying a distinctive white and gold staff topped with red jewels. His manner is curt and matter-of-fact. He initially appears as humanity's savior during the Pillar crisis, offering Valkyries and magically enhanced "herocraft" aircraft to world leaders. He declares the conflict part of an impending Ragnarök, framing his intervention as essential for survival. His true motives, however, are manipulative: he orchestrates the Pillar attacks to provoke perpetual warfare, intending to harvest the souls of deceased Valkyries to build an undead army for his personal ambitions, positioning him as the conflict's primary antagonist. A significant part of his background involves his persistent interest in the Valkyrie Claudia Bradford, later revealed as his daughter. He intends for her to join him during Ragnarök, a plan culminating in her open defiance and his physical confrontation with the Valkyries. His deeper motivation stems from a fear of isolation and a desire to observe humanity's desperate struggle against annihilation. During the assault on the Fuji Pillar, he manifests a colossal entity named "Thor" from within, devastating allied forces and destroying Tateyama Base. Later, after the Valkyries breach the Pillar's defenses, he engages them directly in a final battle where his backstory and fears are exposed. Azuzu Komagome distracts him while Miyako Muguruma destroys the Pillar's core, leading to his demise at Azuzu's hands.
