During a perilous spacewalk, a debris strike endangers her life, forcing the crew to intervene in a dramatic rescue. Subsequently, she operates the covert military robot X-0 Guardian through a neural interface, leveraging its capabilities to save the ISS crew when a massive debris field cripples the station.

Distinguished by pigtails and a birthmark or mole, Maggie evolves from a media figure into a vital operator during critical lunar mission events. Her interactions with protagonist Gorou Saruwatari spark a connection that redirects focus from his prior relationship with Riyoko Ikeuchi.
