Description
Former mountain climber Gorou Saruwatari, inspired alongside friend Jack "Lostman" Woodbridge by observing the International Space Station from Mount Everest's peak, pivots toward space travel. He methodically builds expertise, first as a construction worker before joining the International Space Association's Helium-3 harvesting "Nexus" program on the Moon.

His mountain climbing and construction background provides practical problem-solving skills, demonstrated during pivotal incidents like rescuing trapped workers and undertaking high-risk engineering projects. Saruwatari travels internationally to advance space initiatives, collaborating with Russian programs on the Gagarin shuttle and contributing to the Horner cargo vessel's construction at the International Space Station.

During underwater testing for Japan's "Moon Walker" mecha, an accident claims a diver's life, triggering investigations into technical failures and potential data manipulation. This event exposes deep-rooted corruption within the project's development.

Later, Saruwatari participates in constructing the crewed cislunar transport spacecraft Galileo. His personal life surfaces amid escalating geopolitical tensions involving anti-satellite weapons, where his family is referenced.
