Description
Emi Izumi is an 18-year-old senior at Otobane Academy, born on June 2, serving as president of the school's Film Research Club and often called "Miss President." She possesses dark green hair and blue eyes.

Initially dating fellow senior and club member Kyosuke Tsutsumi, Emi breaks up with him early on, stating she "doesn't understand him anymore," leading to his resignation from the club. Despite this, they maintain a platonic friendship and continue collaborating professionally on filming and editing projects.

Emi exhibits traces of possessiveness and irritation, particularly when Kyosuke shows interest in other girls. A notable instance occurs during a Christmas evening when Kyosuke becomes distracted filming Kei Shindo; Emi reacts with visible annoyance and physically pulls him away. This behavior suggests underlying, unacknowledged feelings complicating their interactions.

Professionally, Emi approaches filmmaking pragmatically, prioritizing conventional projects for the club, especially in preparation for an upcoming film festival. She openly criticizes Kyosuke's creative choices, advising him to focus on "something normal" over experimental concepts. Her leadership blends assertiveness with a clear vision for the club's output.

Post-breakup, their dynamic shifts to one of mutual respect within their collaborative work. They regularly assist each other with filming and editing tasks, demonstrating a functional relationship built on shared dedication to filmmaking. The character appears exclusively within the narrative of "ef: a tale of memories."
