Allison Leigh Sumrall is an American voice actress born on July 21, 1979, in Houston, Texas. She is primarily known for her extensive work in English-language dubs of anime series, having lent her voice to numerous productions for major studios such as ADV Films, Funimation, and Sentai Filmworks. Before establishing her career in voice acting, Sumrall was a veteran of the Houston theater scene, performing with the Masquerade Theatre and Generations Theatre. She also studied performing arts at the University of Houston, which provided a foundation for her work in voiceover.

Sumrall's career in anime began in the early 1990s, with one of her earliest roles being Yuri in the English dub of the classic Dirty Pair OVAs in 1994. Over the years, she has built a substantial filmography, taking on a wide variety of characters that demonstrate her versatility.
