Description
Sanjouno Haruhime hails from a noble Far Eastern family, living isolated with no friends. Her life shifted when children from the Takemikazuchi Familia, approved by their god, began taking her outside to play. Framed for eating a sacred offering led to her disownment by her father. A Pallum offered escape, but abandoned her during a monster attack. Bandits captured her, selling her to an Orario brothel. The goddess Ishtar noticed her in transit and purchased her, forcing her into prostitution within the Ishtar Familia. During this time, Haruhime developed a severe physical reaction to naked men, causing her to foam at the mouth and collapse, unknowingly ensuring she remained a virgin.

Rescued by Bell Cranel, she joined the Hestia Familia. She adopted a maid outfit for daily wear but continued using a kimono for Dungeon expeditions. Gentle, timid, well-mannered, and exceptionally kind, she possesses a strong desire to help others. Sheltered for much of her life, she finds excitement in simple things and loves fairy tales involving heroic rescues, reflecting her own longing for salvation during her captivity with Ishtar. Initially believing her past made her unworthy of rescue, Bell Cranel changed her perspective. Despite her timidity, she shows courage to protect others, such as leaping off a building to protect Wiene or confronting the aggressive Bete to buy time for Bell.

Haruhime possesses the unique magic "Uchide no Kozuchi," which temporarily boosts a single target's level by one, excluding herself. At Level 1, it lasted 15 minutes with a 10-minute cooldown; after ranking up to Level 2, the duration increased to 20 minutes with a 9-minute cooldown. The effect persists regardless of her consciousness and reduces the target's experience gain. Its overwhelming power causes difficulty controlling enhanced abilities, especially for first-time recipients. Its existence was initially kept secret to prevent exploitation but revealed publicly during the Great Faction War. Her second magic, "Kokonoe," learned from a grimoire, creates up to nine tails. Linking it with Uchide no Kozuchi allows applying the level boost to multiple targets simultaneously, though the cooldown restriction remains. Initially, creating five tails exhausted her mind, but by the Freya Familia War Game, she could manage six tails without fainting. Her skill "Mikuzumenohou" enhances her magic's potency based on her devotion to her benefactor. The "Mage" development ability improves her magic power, range, efficiency, adds a colored magic circle during casting, and grants her magic stats equivalent to Level 3.

Her character development includes ranking up to Level 2 after volume 14, though Aisha Belka advised initially withholding this to avoid premature advancement. She actively trains to overcome her dependency on others in the Dungeon and contribute more effectively. Her Far Eastern origins and growth are explored in the "Familia Chronicle" spin-off. Trivia notes her birthday in spring, matching Bell, Ryuu, and Nina, and her alias "Rikkou Kinshu" (Six Lights Supporter), referencing her ability to boost six allies. Her equipment includes the magic-enhancing fan "Oubu," crafted by Welf and acquired during a Far Eastern trip; the wind-element magic sword "Suiran"; the protective "Goliath Robe" made from a Black Goliath hide; and the water-resistant "Undine Cloth" used in shrine maiden attire.
