Description
Nene, the spirited granddaughter of elder Asano, radiates cheerfulness and youthful vigor. She forges a sibling-like bond with Sagara Yoshiharu, treating him as an adored older brother and demonstrating devotion through attentive gestures—cooking meals, guiding his affairs, and steadfastly championing his well-being. Though her grandfather and Oda Nobuna propose a marital union with Yoshiharu, his refusal shifts her focus to unwavering, platonic support.

Granted unusual autonomy within the Oda clan, Nene traverses elite circles and Nobuna’s inner chambers with ease, her informal access reflecting deep trust. Her innocence renders her acutely vulnerable to the Sengoku era’s cruelties; optimism clashes with battlefield carnage and personal tragedies, each loss leaving her profoundly shaken as though the wounds were her own.

While she engages in clan duties, her narrative centers on navigating loyalty, duty, and her bond with Yoshiharu. Her journey hinges on the struggle to preserve childlike hope against encroaching darkness, a tension that molds her growth as she confronts the era’s relentless trials.
