Description
Lind serves as a Valkyrie in Heaven's combat division, classified as "Goddess First Class, Special Duty, Unlimited." This role demands a serious, authoritative demeanor, initially rendering her emotionally reserved and strictly duty-focused. She carried the derogatory nickname "One-Winged Lind" due to manifesting only the single-winged angel Spear Mint—a condition perceived as a soul abnormality that brought social stigma. Through relentless combat training and perseverance, she unlocked her second angel, Cool Mint, becoming the sole known goddess capable of supporting twin angels simultaneously. This demonstrated exceptional inner strength and resolved her spiritual flaw.

Her rigorous combat focus neglected non-combat magic, causing restoration or repair spells to yield chaotic, attack-like results. She possesses strong ice affinity. Lind's battle prowess proved formidable when she forced the Demon Lord Hild to remove a power limiter during their confrontation—a notable feat given Hild's usual capacity to engage all three Norns without such measures.

Lind's character development pivots on interactions with Keiichi Morisato and Belldandy. During the Angel Eater incident ("Tatakau Tsubasa" OVA), she descended to Earth to protect Belldandy and others, unaware it was a demonic trap. This event—where angels faced consumption, risking linked goddesses—catalyzed change. Keiichi’s innate kindness and Belldandy’s patience penetrated Lind’s severity, reconnecting her with suppressed emotions. She rediscovered her smile and formed a deep friendship with Keiichi, shifting from stoicism toward integration.

In the manga's Tenshikui (Angel Eater) arc, her role expanded as she defended fellow goddesses against Hild’s threat, reinforcing her celestial standing and protective commitment. Supplementary sources attribute additional fire and lightning affinities to her capabilities.

Portrayal nuances exist across adaptations: the manga depicts pronounced initial emotional barriers thawing gradually, while the anime shows higher baseline emotion early, particularly during the Lord of Terror storyline where she displayed compassion for Belldandy. The "Fighting Wings" OVA specifically highlights her Angel Eater mission and resulting growth.
