Description
Yume Asakura is a 13-year-old student in class 2-1 at Kazemi Affiliated Junior High School (Kazami Academy). She is the granddaughter of Junichi and Nemu Asakura and the younger sister of Otome Asakura. Standing 153 cm tall and weighing 38 kg, Yume possesses a slim, pale teenage physique with measurements of B79/W51/H80. Her appearance features brown hair styled with odango buns, spiky bangs, and straight sections, complemented by teal-colored tareme eyes.

Her family includes parents Yuki Asakura and grandparents Junichi and Nemu. Yume lives with her sister Otome and their non-blood-related foster brother, Yoshiyuki Sakurai. Inheriting magician blood from her lineage, Yume possesses the ability to see the future through her dreams. This "special gift" from the magic cherry tree fuels significant internal conflict within her.

Yume exhibits a classic tsundere personality. At home, she displays laziness, grumbling tendencies, and frequently uses phrases like "What a pain in the neck," a trait echoing her grandfather Junichi; she remains shy and reserved there. At school, she cultivates a popular, accommodating persona, marked by strong defensiveness and loyalty towards friends like Minatsu Amakase. She serves on the Health Committee and participates in athletics and swimming. Her likes include bathing and jerseys, while she dislikes stubborn people and high places.

Her character development is deeply influenced by unspoken romantic feelings for Yoshiyuki, which she struggles to express, contributing to her dual personality. During the first season, she forms a close bond with Minatsu, supporting her adaptation to human society and fiercely defending her when Minatsu's identity as a robot is revealed. After Minatsu's departure from school, Yume experiences profound loneliness but maintains an independent front, especially around Yoshiyuki.

In the second season, the malfunctioning magic cherry tree begins granting impure wishes indiscriminately, causing widespread incidents. Yume and Otome face a critical dilemma: withering the tree to save their community would erase Yoshiyuki's existence, as he was created by the tree in response to Sakura Yoshino's wish for companionship. This conflict forces Yume to confront the potential loss of her most important relationship, intensifying her emotional struggles.
