Description
Chishio Akaki reigned as his school's undisputed top duelist, basking in peer admiration. However, repeated losses eroded his dominance, leaving victories scarce and fueling deep concern. Unwilling to accept this diminished state, he resolved to reclaim his former glory. He dedicated himself to intensive training, embarking on a journey solely focused on regaining the number one position and restoring his pride.

His path intertwined with twin newcomers Teru and Cocoro, users of the virtual dueling system Duel Flash. Cocoro directly challenged Chishio's claim as the school's best, igniting a rivalry central to his quest for renewed dominance. Later, during a critical confrontation with the group Nest, Swan, a Nest executive, challenged Teru and his allies to a 3-on-3 duel. Chishio found himself pitted against Jinkuro.

Witnessing Pako successfully activate the Arc—the phenomenon allowing duelists to manifest their creatures—Chishio felt visible anxiety, having struggled to replicate it himself. This anxiety resurfaced during his duel with Jinkuro, casting doubt on his ability to make the Arc shine and unleash his creatures. The outcome of these clashes, including his pivotal duel against Nest, remained uncertain, marking another critical juncture in his struggle to regain his lost prowess.
