Description
Rin Gaga works as a Tokyo police officer hunting dangerous criminals. He investigates twins notorious for violent sexual assaults against women, but an unidentified female assassin kills them before police can make arrests. In one operation, Rin and a partner pursue a suspect who shoots bystanders and holds a girl hostage in a train station restroom. Before police resolve the situation, the station lights cut out, and an external attacker murders the suspect, leaving white feathers at the scene.
Rin regularly visits Apollo 11, a maid café employing minor Monaka Noguchi part-time. Knowing her illegal employment status, he pressures her by proposing a date in exchange for not reporting her to school authorities, revealing ambiguous professional ethics through leveraging his position. Later off duty, he meets Monaka near the café, repeats the date proposal which she accepts, and ambiguously warns her against trusting adults.
Tsuin, the surviving twin seeking revenge for his brother's death, targets Rin. Tsuin ambushes Rin at his apartment, sparking a gunfight that spills into the streets and becomes a foot pursuit. During the chase, Tsuin captures Monaka as a hostage against Rin. Before Rin acts, Monaka frees herself and kills Tsuin. Rin arrives to find only Tsuin’s body and Monaka’s hair ribbon, leaving his storyline unresolved regarding professional duties or personal motivations.
