Description
Bekko manages the Z-Loan office as a Ferryman tasked with preserving balance through contracts governing the deceased. He provides loans to zombies in exchange for their service in eliminating unlawful undead, balancing pragmatism with compassion by arranging respectful burials and financial aid for bereaved families. Though projecting a self-interested facade, he enforces ethical standards in all transactions.

His non-human origins are evidenced by centuries of existence, including an 1880s Shanghai encounter with Shito Tachibana. Absence of a black ring distinguishes him from both zombies and humans. He displays unmatched ping pong prowess, having once dominated Shito in a flawless match without surrendering a point.

When Michiru Kita rewrites reality via the Akashic Records, Bekko remains cognizant of the original timeline, promptly announcing Z-Loan’s resurgence in the altered world—proof of his immunity to temporal shifts. As a Ferryman, he holds the authority to excise anomalies from the Akashic Records, though he wields this reality-distorting power only as a last resort.

Blonde hair frames his brown-eyed gaze, accentuated by glasses and tailored professional attire. His interactions blend administrative precision with subtle empathy, prioritizing systemic efficiency without disregarding emotional consequences. No records detail his origins or personal evolution beyond his duties spanning multiple timelines.
