Joe Brown, alias Webmaster Joe, is a twelve-year-old human male characterized by blonde hair and grey eyes. As creator and administrator of the Battle Brawlers' Bakugan-tracking website—joined early by Dan Kuso and Shun Kazami—his access to brawler data initially sparked suspicions he spied for Masquerade. This led the team to visit him during low-blood-sugar treatment at a Cure City hospital. There, Dan accidentally dropped Drago; Joe retrieved it, prompting Dan to challenge him to his first-ever Bakugan battle. Mid-brawl, Joe collapsed from excitement, only to be revived by Wavern, a Bakugan bearing the Infinity Core and sister to Naga, who channeled positive energy into him. This cleared Joe of espionage allegations, as he had previously warned brawlers against confronting Masquerade on his site. Wavern became his partner Bakugan, securing his place in the Battle Brawlers. Joe later dueled Masquerade one-on-one with Wavern, narrowly claiming victory as the first to defeat Masquerade directly. Masquerade challenged him again after Dual Hydranoid evolved into Alpha Hydranoid, seeking Wavern’s Infinity Core, but Dan intercepted the battle. Wavern’s death profoundly impacted Joe, who cherished her friendship. By season’s end, his bond with teammate Chan Lee hinted at romance. His role drastically reduced in subsequent seasons. During *Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia*, he surfaced only in a season-one recap flashback and a group photo Dan displayed while recounting their triumph over Naga. Post-season one, he received no further physical appearances or mentions, with absence unexplained. His Bakugan partners included Haos Siege, Haos Robotallion, and Haos Ravenoid, though Wavern remained primary. He wielded ability cards like "Roobotallion Enforcement" (power increase by 50 Gs), "Siege Javelin" (negating gate cards), and "Rapid Haos" (deploying extra Haos Bakugan), alongside gate cards such as "Haos Normal" (+100 Gs), "Energy Merge" (transferring 100 Gs from foes), and "Warp Gate" (teleporting Bakugan). His battle history features an incomplete match against Dan, a win over Masquerade, and losses to Hal-G and Dan.
