TV-Series
Description
Picchiatore, also known as Brawler, is a highly powerful individual with a deep enjoyment for fighting and a particular value for challenging opponents. His extensive criminal activities have earned him an estimated prison sentence of three million years, marking him as one of the most wanted Akudama in Kansai.
He first appears when recruited as part of a group tasked with rescuing Cutthroat from execution. When their flying bus crashes into the Seven-Star Hotel Geisha and Dancing Girls, Picchiatore demonstrates his combat prowess by engaging the Execution Division Apprentice in a fight. He later forms a strong friendship with another Akudama, Hoodlum, who initially pretends to be a high-level criminal to gain his respect. Despite his rough nature, Picchiatore reveals a sense of morality when he sides with Hoodlum and Swindler against the bullying of children.
His exceptional physical capabilities allow him to break through barriers and overpower numerous opponents. During the Shinkansen raid, he is assigned to help disable the station's barrier alongside Hoodlum and Doctor, and he continues to play a crucial role in subsequent combat situations aboard the train, including engagements with Executioners.
Picchiatore's most significant development occurs during the confrontation with the Execution Division Master at the North Side of the Fortification wall. He engages in an intense one-on-one battle, motivated solely by his love for fighting rather than any noble cause. Even when severely injured and coughing blood, he refuses to retreat, prioritizing the thrill of combat above his own safety. His friend Hoodlum expresses concern and urges him to stop, but Picchiatore continues fighting.
The battle concludes on the Old Kansai Bridge, where Picchiatore and the Execution Division Master kill each other. Hoodlum arrives to witness Picchiatore's body, an event that affects him profoundly and leads him to seek revenge against the Execution Division Apprentice.
Throughout the narrative, Picchiatore's actions and motivations remain centered on his personal enjoyment of combat. His relationship with Hoodlum offers a glimpse into a more loyal aspect of his character, though his primary drive is always the pursuit of a worthy fight.
