Description
Ascoeur, born Lieselotte Rosenburg, originates from the aristocratic Nouvlesse family lineage. She endured significant trauma when the universe transitioned to democracy; she and her brother Geacht'er were imprisoned in an experimental facility due to the Rosenburg family's genocidal resistance against commoner rule. During imprisonment, their powers manifested simultaneously. Ascoeur narrowly avoided being crushed by entering a cryogenic chamber, resulting in separation from her brother and complete memory loss of these events.
Initially introduced as an ES member candidate working as a waitress at the Touch & Go! cafe within the Galactic Trade Organization headquarters, she exhibits a reckless, simple, unpredictable, and childish personality. Her notable obsession with pumpkin pudding drives impulsive actions, such as breaking into restricted areas to obtain it.
Her special ability, "Push-Pull," enables teleportation by bending space, inherited from the ES member Trixie. Initially limited in scope, her teleportation requires power amplification from Di-air's kiss to transport multiple people or objects over greater distances and speeds. With experience, she masters this ability independently, no longer needing Di-air's enhancement.
Character development occurs through key relationships and conflicts. Her partnership with Q-feuille begins with friction but evolves into deep mutual reliance. Di-air's role as a mentee and power amplifier proves crucial during combat against adversaries like Rubis, Saphir, and Genetech Beasts. A critical turning point arises with the revelation of her true identity and familial connection to Geacht'er, recognized through their shared rose birthmark. This knowledge initially causes severe depression.
In Episode 21, her past is fully uncovered, detailing her aristocratic origins, imprisonment, and separation from Geacht'er. During a confrontation, she frees Q-feuille from brainwashing via a resonant kiss, overpowering Geacht'er's influence. Her journey culminates in reconciling her lost identity as Lieselotte with her current role, achieving greater mastery of her abilities, and solidifying bonds with Q-feuille and Di-air.
