Description
Cusack is a high-ranking Demon Clan member, originally one half of the Original Demon crafted by the Demon King as his most trusted retainer. Following the Original Demon's rebellion, the Demon King punished it by splitting body and soul into two beings: Cusack and Chandler. Tasked with instructing the Demon King's sons, Cusack trained the second prince, Zeldris, in combat long before the Holy War 3,000 years ago. He rarely fought in the Holy War itself and was eventually sealed within the Coffin of Eternal Darkness alongside his clan.

After the Demon Clan's unsealing, Cusack emerged alongside Chandler, pledging unwavering loyalty to Zeldris. He expressed confidence that Zeldris, not Meliodas, should succeed the Demon King. Cusack volunteered to eliminate threats like the Seven Deadly Sins and former kings Gloxinia and Drole, demonstrating fierce dedication. This loyalty verged on possessiveness, erupting in fury and despair when Zeldris fell under Meliodas's control; Cusack viewed his failure to protect the prince as profound personal shame.

Cusack maintained a critical and ruthless demeanor, openly denouncing the Demon King's perceived leniency towards Meliodas and chastising Chandler for incompetence. He took pride in his physical attributes, proclaiming his mustache the finest in the Demon Realm. In battle, he efficiently dispatched opponents but occasionally toyed with them out of boredom or curiosity, such as lecturing Arthur Pendragon on tactical failures after Arthur damaged his mustache.

Wielding dual swords, Cusack deployed techniques like Resonant to puppeteer foes. During the New Holy War, he confronted multiple adversaries, including Merlin and Arthur Pendragon. When Arthur infiltrated Camelot for Excalibur, Cusack overpowered Cath Palug and tested Arthur, later using Resonant to force Arthur to impale himself. He also battled the Assault Force at Camelot, engaging Merlin and others while guarding Meliodas's commandment-absorption cocoon alongside Zeldris and Chandler.

As the conflict intensified, Cusack and Chandler unleashed their true demonic forms, sprouting draconic wings and undergoing physical transformations to amplify their power, justifying the release due to their advanced age. Ultimately, acknowledging their shared origin, Cusack and Chandler merged back into the Original Demon to confront escalating threats.
