Triple Jim begins as a robot from the mechanical world of Cronos within the "Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos" series. He possesses the ability to transform into both a helicopter and a car and acts as the fussy, deeply protective caretaker to Leina Stol. Following the events of that series, Triple Jim crosses a dimensional barrier alongside Leina and other characters. This journey transforms his physical form from robotic to human and causes blurred memories, an effect shared by his companions. In this new human state, he reunites with Leina, now known as the Japanese schoolgirl Leina Haruka, and encounters former robotic allies Rod Drill, Blue Jet, and Rom Stol, also now human. His essential role as Leina's caretaker continues within the "Leina: Wolf Sword Legend" OVAs, where he interacts with the group as they adapt to their transformed existence and seek missing allies, including Leina's brother.
