This elderly woman possesses a very small stature, curly black hair, sharp black eyes, and a slightly puckered mouth, typically seen in simple light-colored shirts and skirts. In her youth, she stood taller than Unken Inuzuka, wore her long black hair in a single braid, and closely resembled Sanae.

Beyond her family duties, Kimie acts as landlady for tenants including Iroha Miyamoto and Hanzou. During a hot springs trip in the OVAs, she pursues Iroha after a collision, her stern demeanor evident even as her stamina proves limited by age.

As matriarch, she upholds the clan's kick-based martial art. This tradition utilizes specialized costumes that amplify power, working most effectively with minimal attire—specifically boots—to maximize kicking force. Kimie personally ensures the preservation of these methods, training Sanae in their practice.

Her influence extends to attempting a marriage arrangement for Sanae, reflecting the series' theme of marital alliances among the zodiac families, similar to the arrangement between Koushi Inuzuka and Momoko Kuzuryuu, though Sanae's specific betrothal remains undisclosed.
