Description
Travastila "Trava" Anister is a former military Power pilot, specializing in mech-ships that augment his combat and piloting skills. Discharged from service precisely because his exceptional abilities surpassed his peers, he partnered with his ex-military mechanic, Shinkai. They operate as freelance planetary surveyors, taking dangerous assignments on uncharted worlds to fund their ultimate ambition: entering the Fist Planet tournament, an intergalactic Power fighting competition offering billions in credits to the victor.

During their survey mission to the remote Planet Fable in the OVA *Trava: Fist Planet*, Trava and Shinkai discover and rescue an amnesiac girl, Mikuru, from an emergency pod. Trava openly states his goal of winning Fist Planet to settle debts and acquire advanced gear. His personality is marked by recklessness and impulsiveness; he frequently ignores Shinkai's cautious advice to chase opportunities, exemplified by retrieving Mikuru's pod despite fuel constraints. He exhibits unwavering confidence in his piloting, often boasting of being the military's top Power rider, alongside occasional immaturity seen in petty arguments with Shinkai.

The unresolved sequel pilot, *Trava: Fist Planet Episode 2*, shows an older Trava and Shinkai finally preparing for the Fist Planet tournament. Their plans are disrupted by Mikuru—now revealed as a princess—and her cybernetically enhanced guardian, Reiter. This leads to a physical confrontation between Trava and Reiter in the tournament arena, while Shinkai and Mikuru face off as rival mechanics.

In the film *Redline*, Trava appears as a supporting contestant, piloting the Speed Master vehicle with Shinkai. During pre-race events on the moon EUЯPSS, he is briefly shown confronting another racer, Little Deyzuna, before Roboworld forces intervene. Trava participates in the Redline race itself, navigating military attacks and environmental hazards alongside other competitors; his specific fate during the event remains unrecorded.

Across all appearances, Trava consistently displays a competitive drive fueled by financial ambition, a reckless yet skilled approach to piloting, and reliance on his partnership with Shinkai. His background as a military ace and ongoing quest to prove himself in high-stakes tournaments define his narrative arc.
