TV-Series
Description
Karehan serves as the first antagonist introduced from Dark Fall. His element is trees, and he guards the Fountain of Trees. His nickname, "Karecchi," derives from the Japanese word "kareha" (枯葉), meaning "dried leaves."

He possesses long yellow-white hair styled upright with two braids and wears a leaf mask, his design inspired by plant-based enemy characters in 1970s tokusatsu series. Personality-wise, Karehan initially displays calm and introspective traits, often retreating to reassess strategies after failures. He avoids direct combat unless enhanced and exhibits self-awareness regarding his capabilities. However, he is easily provoked into violent outbursts when mocked, particularly by Goyan. Karehan demonstrates mercilessness toward weaker entities, bullying Flappy and Choppy. Despite his antagonistic role, he shows honesty and shock when betrayed, such as Dorodoron abandoning him during battle.

His relationships within Dark Fall are contentious. Moerumba harbors a romantic interest in him, which he finds irritating due to their opposing elements (fire vs. trees) and clashing personalities; physical contact between them results in Karehan catching fire. Goyan frequently taunts him, exploiting his short temper, and holds no respect for him. During a temporary alliance with Dorodoron, Karehan maintains a cold demeanor and reacts angrily to being addressed by his nickname. His brief trust in Dorodoron shatters when Dorodoron evades the Cures' Spiral Heart Splash attack, leaving Karehan to be defeated.

Karehan's history centers on missions to capture the Fountain of Sun. In his debut, he attempts to capture Flappy and Choppy to locate the fountain but is thwarted by Saki and Mai transforming into Pretty Cure. After repeated failures, Akudaikan grants him a final opportunity. During this mission, he fuses with an Uzaina to unleash destructive power on a forest but is defeated by Cure Bloom and Cure Egret's Twin Stream Splash. He reappears to deliver a final blow after they collect a Miracle Drop but disintegrates into a pink light, leaving only a leaf behind.

Goyan later revives Karehan using the Fairy Carafe. Though Moerumba expresses joy, Karehan remains displeased yet collaborates with her for revenge against Pretty Cure. Their partnership nearly succeeds but collapses due to infighting over who should claim victory. Goyan retrieves them to Dark Fall. In his final appearance, Karehan teams with Dorodoron but is defeated permanently when Michiru and Kaoru nullify his powers, allowing the Spiral Heart Splash to obliterate him.

Karehan appears in *Pretty Cure All Stars DX 2: Kibou no Hikari - Rainbow Jewel o Mamore!*, representing Splash Star villains alongside Moerumba, Ms. Shitataare, and Kintoleski.

Saki frequently misnames him "kare pan" (curry bread), which annoys him, and he has a fondness for insects.
