Description
Tamao Suzumi is a student at St. Miator Girls' Academy, distinguished by a mature appearance with a long cascade of azure-blue hair she typically wears in an elegant French braided bun, secured by a white hair bow, and striking lavender-purple eyes. She carries herself with a nice and helpful demeanor and is often the source of gossip concerning love and attraction. Her literary talent shines as an active member of the Literature Club, where she passionately writes poetry; she is the author behind the script for Astraea Hill's adaptation of *Carmen*.

Her past was marked by a prolonged loneliness, waiting three years for a roommate after other students initially avoided sharing with her. This solitude ended when Nagisa Aoi transferred to Miator and became not only her roommate but her closest friend. For Tamao, this friendship grew into deep romantic feelings, though they remained largely unrequited as Nagisa saw her as a best friend. Tamao's affection expressed itself in particular ways: she took detailed physical measurements of Nagisa under the guise of uniform fitting, recorded the sound of her screams, and lovingly styled her hair. She frequently referred to Nagisa as "My Nagisa" and seized every chance for closeness, such as sharing an umbrella in the rain.

Keenly observant of the relationships around her, Tamao detected Amane Ohtori's feelings for Hikari Konohana before anyone else and voiced excitement over their potential romance. A possessive and anxious streak also defines her, particularly regarding Nagisa's growing bond with Shizuma Hanazono, the Etoile. This anxiety and her fierce loyalty align with Enneagram Type 6, as she seeks security through intimate connections.

Significant moments include a confession of love whispered to a sleeping Nagisa, accompanied by a kiss—an act symbolizing her inability to voice these feelings openly while awake. She also gifted Nagisa a red ribbon as a protective charm, which became a treasured symbol of their bond after it was lost and recovered. Despite her own desires, Tamao ultimately placed Nagisa's happiness above her own, encouraging her relationship with Shizuma during the climax of the Etoile election.

Diligent and reliable, she often supports her friends and participates in school activities like picnics and cultural festivals. She struggles deeply with change and uncertainty, reflecting a core preference for stability and harmony.
