Description
Kiri Kikyou teaches physical education at Nadeshiko Academy, where a reunion with childhood friend Hiroki Kamikura rekindles long-dormant emotions from their shared past. Her choice to join the faculty hinges on Hiroki’s presence, a testament to unresolved feelings lingering since their youth. During high school, Kiri, Hiroki, and mutual friend Yanagi formed an inseparable trio united by artistic passions. Kiri’s heartfelt confession to Hiroki during this time met rejection, irrevocably shifting their relationship.

Clinging to her affection through adulthood, Kiri wrestles with voicing her feelings openly. Her interactions with Elis Housen—Hiroki’s cousin and ward—spiral into rivalry, fueled by Elis’s perceived emotional intimacy with Hiroki. Despite hesitation, Kiri eventually confronts her emotions, gathering courage to confess again, marking growth in addressing unresolved tensions.

Kiri’s past holds turmoil when Yanagi, secretly enamored with her, stole Hiroki’s portrait of her and submitted it to a national contest. This act shattered Hiroki and Yanagi’s friendship, though Kiri remained unaware of Hiroki’s true reasons for rejecting her. Years later, Yanagi confesses his feelings, but Kiri declines, instead supporting his efforts to mend her fractured connection with Hiroki.

Loyalty and persistence define Kiri, reflected in her enduring bond with Hiroki and navigation of tangled relationships. She stands 1.65 meters with vibrant orange hair and emerald eyes, her professional demeanor accentuated by a tracksuit and whistle. While her adult role minimizes her artistic roots, the legacy of her shared history with Hiroki and Yanagi remains foundational to her narrative.
