Description
Kurobe, an Ogre born into a lineage of blacksmiths, once held the esteemed role of master smith in his village until the Orc War reduced it to ruins. Surviving the carnage, he fled alongside five fellow Ogres through the Great Jura Forest, where they crossed paths with Rimuru. Mistaking the slime’s magical mask as a threat, Kurobe launched an assault but was swiftly subdued. Convinced of Rimuru’s benign intentions after Shuna’s mediation, he pledged allegiance to the burgeoning Jura-Tempest Federation.

Plagued by despair upon settling in Rimuru’s domain, he found renewed vigor through an encounter with the dwarf smith Kaijin. Their mutual zeal for forging ignited a partnership, rekindling Kurobe’s drive. When Rimuru bestowed his name, the act catalyzed Kurobe’s evolution into a Kijin, reshaping his once-muscular grey Ogre form into a humanoid figure resembling a middle-aged man, though his face remained perennially veiled in illustrations. His demeanor shifted from brooding resignation to buoyant optimism, channeling his energy into producing exceptional arms and armor for Rimuru’s army.

Gifted with the Unique Skill *Craftsman*, supplemented by *Omni Analysis*, *Spatial Storage*, and *Transmutation*, Kurobe manipulates materials with peerless precision. *Flame Manipulation* and *Thermal Fluctuation Resistance* further amplify his craft. Though abstaining from combat post-evolution, his raw strength permits staggering feats, such as hauling thirty-ton metal loads unaided.

His creations—ranging from humble garden tools to kitchenware—routinely transcend practicality, unwittingly attaining mythic renown. This acclaim dubbed him the *Legend Forge-Talker*, a title he initially misattributed to a nonexistent rival. Collaborations with Kaijin devolve into fervent, hours-long technical debates that exhaust bystanders. A running joke obscures his visage across media, with objects or scenery strategically blocking his face.

In supplementary tales, he aids Tempest’s growth through infrastructure projects and comedic mishaps, like forging absurdly potent utensils for Veldora. His journey from displaced Ogre to Kijin artisan cements his quiet yet vital role in the federation, symbolizing the triumph of craftsmanship and communal unity over martial prowess.
