Junichi Yanagita is a Japanese voice actor born on April 5, 1987, in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency I'm Enterprise. After graduating from the Japan Narration Acting Institute, he joined I'm Enterprise on April 1, 2008, marking the start of his professional career. He holds a black belt, third-degree rank in kendo and has a standard driver's license.

Yanagita has built a career as a versatile supporting actor, appearing in a wide array of anime television series since his debut in 2009. His filmography is extensive, demonstrating his ability to take on a variety of character types, from comedic roles to dramatic parts and from young protagonists to authoritative adults. Among his many supporting roles, he is known for voicing Daigo Aoki in the Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma series, including The Third Plate, The Fourth Plate, and The Fifth Plate.
