Yaman appears exclusively in "Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken: Kenshirō-den". A former slave dwelling in the post-apocalyptic wasteland, his family includes his wife Saya and their two daughters, Danne and Amo.

Yaman and his family discover Kenshiro severely wounded after his defeat by Shin and take him in, offering aid. This act of kindness results in their capture by the slaver Guruma. The entire family is forced into slavery and transported to Gesso City, where they are held captive with Kenshiro.

During their enslavement, Yaman and his family remain alongside Kenshiro as he recovers. Their presence and shared suffering fuel Kenshiro’s resolve to protect the innocent. Yaman, Saya, Danne, and Amo meet their end in the explosion that destroys Gesso City during the film's events.
